Become a Library Leader

The Pacific Northwest Library Association (PNLA) Leadership Institute is designed to provide opportunities for emerging library leaders in the Pacific Northwest to cultivate their leadership skills and potential.

Library leaders come in all forms and from all levels within libraries. They may be support staff or professionals, with or without library school degrees. If you are an emerging leader serving in any capacity in a library in the Pacific Northwest and have a desire to network with other leaders and increase your skills, this institute is for you!

Does your company want to reach tomorrow’s library leaders today?

You can if you sponsor PNLA Leads, the Pacific Northwest Library Association’s biennial Leadership Institute.

There are many levels of sponsorship available from $250 to $15,000 biennially.  Contact Mary DeWalt, PNLA Leads coordinator: mdewalt@adalib.org / 208-362-0181 x123 to find the right level for your company.

Sponsors are gratefully acknowledged throughout the PNLA community which includes the following states and provinces:  AB, AK, BC, ID, MT, OR and WA.

PNLA Leads 2008 is made possible through a grant from the federal
Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). IMLS is an independent
federal agency that grows and sustains a "Nation of Learners," because
lifelong learning is critical to success
