Law Librarian
Lane County Law Library

Lane County is seeking an experienced and energetic law librarian to manage the county’s public law library in Eugene, OR.   This is a full-time position, with benefits, supervising 1.25 FTE.   The Law Librarian is responsible for the overall administration of  library operations, including budgeting, reference services, management of electronic resources and contracts, website maintenance, collection maintenance, and supervision of clerical staff.   

Established in 1948, the Lane County Law Library is open to the public 45 hours a week, providing both print and electronic legal resources to county residents, members of the local bar, court and county staff, and all other residents of Lane County.

 Qualifications:
 - Degree in Library Science
 -  Minimum of three years professional experience as librarian, with supervisory
           experience
 - Experience with legal materials and electronic resources, including Westlaw,
             Lexis and Shepards Online.
