Early Literacy Coordinator

The Corvallis-Benton County Public Library is recruiting for a part-time (20 hrs/wk) Early Literacy Coordinator position. Provide outreach activities that promote and support early literacy for children age birth through third grade. Provide early literacy training for parents, childcare providers, early childhood education students, and agencies serving youth. MLS from an accredited ALA program with specialized knowledge of child development or early literacy required; a BS or MS in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and two years relevant experience providing early literacy services in a library context may be substituted. Salary range: $21.32 - $27.69 per hour, plus benefits.
