LMN Architects seek a full time Special Librarian to establish and maintain a library and information center. All applicants should have a degree in library sciences with an emphasis in private sector information management. Professional competencies should address the following needs:
Develop a strategic plan that supports LMN’s information management goals
Establish long-term strategy and near-term priorities for a library and information center
Manage information resources and services; catalogue and process materials
Evaluate and apply information tools and technologies
Assist development team with the next version of our intranet
Assist with office and project research activities

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Experience in conducting reference interviews to better understand user needs as part of research activities
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Professional desired
Good interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, required
Familiarity with design and construction terminology preferred but not necessary
