TEEN SERVICES POSITION - PART TIME

The Jefferson County Library has a part time, 20 hour per week, position available. Schedule: Monday-Friday afternoons, including occasional mornings, evenings and Saturdays and Sundays. This position assists the Youth Services Librarian in the planning and implementation of services to teens (ages 11-18) including programs, book and materials selection, technology and information services. It also provides children's story hours and direct service to children and adults at the Children's Service Desk. Applicants must have a genuine passion for providing services to young people. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Two years of experience working with teens is preferred or any equivalent combination of recent education and experience. Pay begins at $15.82 per hour.
