Web Search Evaluator
Butler Hill Group

The Butler Hill Group, a virtual computational linguistics and web search consulting company, has an immediate need for organized, detail-oriented Web Search Evaluators who specifically reside in the greater-Seattle area. 

Candidates must be native English speakers living in the US, and able to work remotely from their home office on their own PC (high-speed internet connection and Windows Vista or 7 required). This is a free-lance, contract position reviewing and evaluating online search results. Candidates need a background or interest in internet research/technology and familiarity with current US cultural, political, business and media affairs.  Enrollment of at least 1-2 years in a university program is required and 1-2 years professional work experience; library education/experience is a plus.

Evaluators will work 20-22 hours/week, 4 hours/day, Monday–Friday.  Additionally, consultants will be required to attend a weekly meeting in Bellevue (day/time TBD).  Project work is expected to continue through June, 2011.
